Naruto Uzumaki is the main protagonist character of the anime series Naruto and its sequel Naruto Shippuuden. Naruto was just a newborn infant when the powerful nine-tailed demon fox attacked his village The Hidden Leaf, Konoha. In order for the village to be saved from destruction, the demon fox was sealed into Naruto’s body. This was done by Minato Namikaze the 4th Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, who sacrificed his life in the process by sealing it within Naruto, believing his son would someday have use for it. Naruto was left to grow up knowing nothing of his parents, receiving only his mother’s last name since the Third Hokage felt that it was best that nobody knew that he was related to the Fourth Hokage. Before Minato died, his last wish was that the villagers of Konoha would see Naruto as a Hero for serving as he container of the Nine Tails and a vital key to the conquering of the demon fox. Only a few villagers had honoured this request, while most resented him for containing the monster that destroyed the village. Nobody ever told Naruto what he had contained within him, until he reached the age of 12. This confused Naruto throughout most of his childhood as he was unaware why the villagers treated him as an outcast. Despite him considered as an outcast, he was befriended by his ninja instructor Iruka Umino. Iruka had lost his parents on the night during the battle with the demon fox, but he is one of the people who refuses to see Naruto as the cause for his loss and the cause of their deaths. In return Naruto values Iruka and sees him as father figure as well as an instructor. Naruto’s lifelong dream and ambition is to someday become a Hokage.

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the main characters in the Naruto anime series and is the youngest son of the Uchiha Clan head, Fugaku Uchiha. Sasuke had mostly grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi Uchiha who was considered an extremely talented ninja and was destined to be the Uchiha Clan’s future. Due to this focusing on Itachi, Sasuke would do whatever he could in his power to prove himself to his family, thought at the time no amount of training could live up to the standards his older brother. Itachi, aware of Sasuke’s struggle to gain his fathers recognition tried to get his father to devote some time and attention to Sasuke and even offered to train Sasuke in a variety of ninja techniques and abilities in the field of combat. Overtime Itachi’s relationship with his father and the Uchiha Clan began to deteriorate further after Itachi was questioned by other members of the Uchiha clan regarding the apparent suicide of his best friend, Shisui. As Itachi becomes less trustworthy a stronger rivalry began to grow between the two brothers, with Itachi challenging Sasuke to surpass him. Because of Itachi’s change in behaviour and personality, Fugaku started to give Sasuke more time and giving him the attention he always wanted, this was shown when Fugaku managed to teach Sasuke the Great Fireball Technique, a common family Jutsu seen as a sign of coming of age in the Uchiha clan. After performing the Jutsu in front of his father successfully after only one week of training, Sasuke earned himself a proper place in the Uchiha Clan and earned the right to wear the Uchiha emblem on his back. Fugaku strongly encouraged Sasuke to never follow in his brothers footsteps. Shortly thereafter, as Sasuke was returning home late one evening, only to find that every single member of the Uchiha Clan has been massacred. After finding his brother Itachi standing over the dead bodies of his parents, this was a clear indication to who was responsible for this. Itachi informed Sasuke he was not even worth killing. As Itachi prepared to leave, he inspired Sasuke to get even stronger and eventually surpass him, then disappearing into the night. From then on Sasuke had lived as an orphan with only one goal in mind, which is gain power through any means necessary in order to kill his brother and avenge his fallen clan.

Sakura Haruno is one of the main female characters from the Naruto Anime series. At the start of the series, she shows deep extravagant passion for the young Sasuke, of the Uchiha Clan. She consistently persisted in following him everywhere in the attempt to serve him and always valuing his opinions and abilities over everything else. When Sasuke found himself in dangerous situations, Sakura tends to display more concerned emotions towards the wellbeing of Sasuke, as she even broke the Shinobi Code and cried after witnessing Sasuke die, despite it just being an illusion. Sakura maintains this sensitive emotional attitude, as this is noticed even more when she worries about the cursed seal Sasuke had gotten from Orochimaru. Sakura is most afraid of the seal’s potential and how it may manipulate Sasuke into leaving the village. Overtime this event eventually occurs as Sasuke decides to leave the village in the pursuit of Orochimaru. Before leaving, Sakura made attempts to prevent the young Uchiha from leaving the village at the exit, to lengths such as expressing her love for him and urging him to stay. She fails and persuading him to stay and wishes to join him and that she would do anything just to be with him. Despite her attempts the last words Sasuke had said to her before leaving were “thank you “just before he knocks her out. After the two and a half year training time skip Naruto and Sakura are re-united and she begins to learn and realize the hardships of Naruto’s life, particularly that he holds within him a great surge of power, the Nine Tail Demon Fox. The Akatsuki’s plans are to capture Naruto and remove the Nine Tails from his body, but if this ever occurs, Naruto will die. Due to these conditions, Sakura has developed the worrying mentality for Naruto, which she showed towards Sasuke when she was younger. As the two spend more time together, she begins to accept Naruto as a very reliable and trustworthy teammate. As a result of her new feelings towards Naruto, she becomes more accepting towards his habits and is much more capable of working well with him.

Kakashi Hatake is one of the main protagonists in the Anime series of Naruto. He plays vital roles and responsibilities such as the Leader of Team 7, being a Konoha Jonin along with the history of being one of the top serving members of the ANBU Black Ops. Kakashi was an only child and son of Sakumo Hatake and is considered to be a genius Shinobi, a gifted prodigy of his generation after only finishing the Ninja Academy at the young age of 5 and achieving the Chunin rank just one year later. A few years on, Kakashi’s father was disgraced by the village as he abandoned his mission objective in order to save his comrades. Deeply ashamed, Sakumo fell into deep depression and decided to end his life as he committed suicide. After the death of his father, Kakashi had strictly leaded his life by the code of the Shinobi. When Kakashi had turned 13 he was assigned to become the student of Minato Namikaze, and subsequently became a Jonin during the Third Great Shinobi War. His assignments main objective included to blow up a bridge in order to stop enemy infiltration the Village. During the mission, Kakashi’s teammate Rin was captured by one of the enemies. Obito Uchiha, Kakashi’s other teammate had gone immediately into pursuit to save her. Kakashi did not approve as his focus was to complete the mission and to avoid making the same mistake his father had done. Despite Kakashi’s beliefs he abandoned his goal and rushed after Obito in the rescue effort, initially claiming that Obito would not survive on his own. Whilst attempting to save Rin, Kakashi had lost his left eye in process after taking a direct hit from an enemy ninja’s attack for Obito. Feeling responsible for Kakashi’s loss, Obito awakened his Sharingan and defeated the enemy ninja in return to protect him. After finally saving Rin, a rock falling technique was released which was going to impale Kakashi on his blind side, if it wasn’t for Obito stepping in on time and pushing Kakashi out of the way, getting crushed himself in the process. Kakashi avenged Obito and killed the enemy ninja responsible for the rockslide with the use of his newly perfected technique Chidori along with the use of his Sharingan. Kakashi received the Sharingan as a gift from Obito before he died which was transferred to him by Rin, the medical-nin.

Several years have passed and Kakashi has become a member of the Hidden Leaf ANBU black Ops serving as team leader. Later leaving for unknown reasons, he kept the iron guards on his gloves, a symbol of the ANBU uniform along with maintaining strong connections with them.
